Northern region has recorded two more COVID 19 cases bringing to 13 the total number of confirmed cases of COVID 19.
The Northern regional director of health Dr John B Eleeza who disclosed the news to DGN online’s Eric Combat in Tamale said the two cases involved a male and females who have both been sent to the Tamale Teaching Hospital for treatment.
According to Mr Eleeza,the two patients are both residents of Tamale and have no travel history.
The females according to Dr Eleeza was suspected by health personnel’s during a visit to a health facility whiles the male submitted himself personally for screening and was pronounced positive.
He said ” Their samples where taken and tested and it came out positive”
Case count in Northern region is now 13 involving,eight Guineans,
two Burkina bes and three Ghanaians.
