The entire five bedroom home of the Npkeiden family at Denong in the Saboba District was on Wednesday, 26th February, 2020 reduced to ashes after a domestic fire outbreak
An eye witness Madam Npkeidan who narrated the incident to Radio Gaakii’s Takal David Danan said
” I was in the room taking my rest when my children rushed in into my room to tell me that fire had gutted our home. I immediately thought of rescuing the kid’s but a thick smoke emanating from the fire made it difficult for me.I managed to rescue them by sending them to our bathroom which was a little safer. I kept shouting for help. Many neighbours came with water to help quench the fire but it was too late since the intensity of the fire was too high and unbearable”
